You are in luck as we restart the new season on the 4th September . Our first evening is a relaxed catch up with the new programme being introduced . There will be a short presentation showcasing the fantastic Summer School, which was organised by Jan Sullivan and Ali Rees.
Come along as a guest to see what we do or join us as a new member. You will be made very welcome and there is tea, coffee and biscuits !
The club is very friendly with a good mix of male & female members with a variety of abilities. Don’t feel you have to have the top of the range gear or software . Mobile phones and compact cameras do a fantastic job too.
There is no obligation to join in competitions but they are interesting to watch and to learn from. We have a wide range of speakers, covering many genres from wildlife, sport, street, landscapes and more. They can inspire and help you to develop your photography skills.
Workshops are held through the season usually covering a topic which members would like help with. In the past we have covered portrait work and the use of light, macro skills and software help, for instance, Lightroom or Photoshop and creative photography .
We also have occasional outings to a local attraction or location for a photoshoot and for tea & cake!
Even if you don’t take photographs yourself but enjoy seeing other peoples’ work then you are welcome too!
There is lots of information on the clubs website with contact details, membership form and the programme and costs etc.
We do look forward to seeing you, local clubs of all types need members to support and sustain them.
