Creative Comp
Another great night at Tenby & District Camera Club, it was judging the Creative Competition, we had the best creative judge in wales, Harry Gardiner, now I know why Harry is a 5 star rated judge, he was excellent at critiquing our entires giving sound advice and recommendations on improving the images, backed with ways on improving the impact an image.
Dave Bolton won the Print Trophy, with his brilliant print of Tenby’s Lifeboat battling the elements in a very choppy sea.
The Digital Image Trophy was won by Ray Hine, for his excellent image of the spectrum of colours that result when a plastic ruler is twisted and under stress.
The competition was based on a Creative Theme, and Harry was looking for evidence of that in his choice of winners.
After the judging Harry showed us a series of images that outlined the concept of creativity, thereby demonstrating good practice, which is what he was looking for in judging the competition.
