Tenby Camera members enjoyed a lovely evening last Thursday night. thanks to David Lingham for his excellent presentation, it was great to see the creative way he had used traditional photography, to produced such stunning work using toning, dodging and burning and other techniques, this, of course, makes every print unique, unlike the digital system in use today. he used infrared to emphasise the creativity of his images.
Although he lives in Cardiff, His love of Pembrokeshire was reflected in the many photographs he showed, of our well known beaches and landscapes, applying his own style of photography, resulted in an enhancement of the natural beauty of the vista.
All together it was a excellent evening, and very refreshing to see traditional methods still used, it brought back many memories of dark room days.
