Tenby & District Camera Club kicked off 2025 with the judging of the 2nd Open Competition. There were 54 entries, 39 digital and 15 prints to be appreciated and judged. It was a close run competition with Rob Mitchell tasked to give out the awards as well as critique. Rob is well qualified with a Masters degree in Photography which he still teaches .

There were images from all genres , landscapes, creative, nature and street well represented .

The winners were:

Prints

  • Gold Medal was won by Jan Sullivan with “Taking Flight”
    Silver Medal was awarded to Ali Rees and “ Urban Life”
    Bronze Medal went to Francis White with “Waterfall in colour”


There were 2 Highly commended awards both by Charlie Kidd and 2 Commended , one by Jan Sullivan and one by John Slater .

Digitals

The winners were:


  • Gold Medal was won by Jan Sullivan for her image “Humming bird Moth.
    Silver Medal was awarded to Ali Rees for “Incoming Gannet”
    Bronze Medal went to Jan Sullivan and “Shades of Autumn”
    Highly Commended awards were given to Charlie Kidd and Harry Gardiner.


Commended awards went to Rob Cox, Paul Richards, Gary Mayhew and Alan Brown.
