Photograph of the Year Print (POTY) and Digital (DOTY)
This is the final competition of the season and it’s special! All the Gold, Silver and Bronze.
winning images from all the competitions ( judged by an external judge) are entered into the 2 categories Print and Digital . The Gold award given to that photograph means that image has the prestigious accolade of Print of the Year and Digital of the Year .
This competition is of an exceptionally high standard and important, which is why we had the experienced judge Ed Cloutman EFIAP Hon. FWPF, to judge and critique .
PRINTS
There were 24 prints to be enjoyed from 10 photographers .
The Gold Award and the PRINT OF THE YEAR TROPHY was won by Al Rees with “ Walking Eyri” .
The Silver Award went to Jan Sullivan with “The Grey on the Moors”
The Bronze Award was given to Jan Sullivan for “ Drink on the Wing”
There were 5 Highly Commended awards given to
Charlie Kidd won 3 for “ Pair of Bee eaters” , “Natures Intimacy, lesser kestrels” and “Lynx on the hunt”
Jan Sullivan for “ Food for the nest”
Cheryl Hewitt for “ Sanderling Synchrony”
There were 7 Commended awards which went to
Jan Sullivan with 3 , “Birch among the Pines’, “Mid air encounter” and “It’s Electrifying”
