13 March 2025: The Fourtograph Competition
This is an annual fun competition for all members to have a “go”. The four subjects are chosen well in advance and this year they were Curves, Reflections in Glass , Sea Shells and Yellow.
The “judging” and scoring is assigned to the audience attending, with much concentration on show ! Each image is scored between 1 and 5. There was an excellent interpretation of the subjects from 13 to 17 members.
The overall winner with most points from all the categories was John Whitehurst with 322 points, Sara Josey was second with 313 points , and Cheryl Hewitt with 312 points. The most points for an individual image was Rob Cox in the Yellow category 98 points . Sara Josey was second 90 points and Cheryl Hewitt 3rd 88 points, both in the sea shell section.
The Curves section was won by Alan Brown, 2nd Alistair Mackay and 3rd Sara Josey.
The Reflections in Glass was won by Jane Crocker, 2nd Cheryl Hewitt and 3rd Jan Sullivan.
The Sea shells was won by Sara Josey, 2nd Cheryl Hewitt and 3rd Melanie Felton.
Yellow was won by Rob Cox, 2nd by John Whitehurst and 3rd by John Slater .
