12 March 2025: The Carmarthen Battle
Nine members attended this external competition, supporting Tenby Camera Club. The Battle was between Cardigan CC, Newquay CC, Carmarthen PS and Tenby CC. Each club had to submit 10 digital images which were expertly judged by WPF judge Gary Shinner.
Gary carefully and fairly commented on each image before scoring out of 20. It was a very close competition but Tenby CC was able to gain the lead to win the Battle with 91 / 200 points. Cardigan Cc was second with 189/ 200 points , Newquay CC and Carmarthen PS shared joint 3rd with 178/200 points . Four of Tenby’s members were awarded the maximum points of 20 and they were Gary Mayhew, Jason Laugharne, Cheryl Hewitt and Rob Cox. The authors of all the images used should be thanked for the high standard achieved.
The hosts, Carmarthen PS, warmly welcomed everyone to this enjoyable event and provided tasty refreshments.
