Roy Peters - The USA …Utah Area and Route 66 and more
AV’s at their finest

Roy is a member of Tenby Camera Club, an experienced and
respected photographer with great skills in AV production. He
and his wife have holidayed in the USA for several years,
appreciating the stunning and varied landscapes for which it is
famous .
We watched an excellent AV taking us on a journey travelling
through the National Parks of Utah , Arizona and Colorado.
Impressive landscapes of unique rock formations with
wonderful colours and form. Wildlife and flowers featured too,
all surviving in this sometimes hostile environment .
Abandoned Mining Complexes, rusty cars and machinery all
gave the presentation interest .
Another short AV featured Route 66 in all it’s glory revisiting the
60’s ! Sleek cars and motorbikes, now classics, captured
perfectly.
A short AV of the WW2 period was shown, re-enacted with
soldiers and families, trains and cars of this notable time. There
were some poignant moments captured .
The final AV shown was a spooky interpretation of a visit to the
English Heritage property Moreton Corbet Castle in Shropshire.
This is an impressive ruin of a medieval castle and Elizabethan
era Manor House . Roy wished to make a different portrayal of
this place and so chose a mysterious and ghostly theme to
great effect.
Roy was warmly thanked for sharing his work and all the skills
he has .
