Welcome to the Tenby & District Camera Club website.

The club exists to provide a meeting place for all levels of photographic experience in the Pembrokeshire area. From September to the end of May we meet every Thursday between 7:30PM and 10PM at St. Florence village hall. From May to August we organise a Summer School which includes photographic outings and social get-togethers.

The Clubs Objectives are:
To encourage interest and participation through the development and implementation of a comprehensive events and activities programme.
Develop technical and artistic skills through lectures and practical workshops.
Encourage awareness and appreciation for the rich landscape and wildlife heritage within the County.

The club was formed in the early ’80s and has come a long way since those days, keeping up with the modern technology of today’s cameras and processing software. Members have a wide range of photographic interests from macro through landscape, wildlife, black & white to creative. The club has regular presentations from guest speakers from outside the club as well as from members. The club encourages members to enter all forms of photographic competitions and several of our members have had success in major photographic competitions and salons throughout the world as well as gaining distinctions in photographic organisations such as the PAGB, WPF and RPS.

The club is affiliated to the Welsh Photographic Federation and regularly competes in inter club competitions both within Wales and the UK.

The Membership fee is £20.00 per adult & £10.00 for a junior (under 18) member. Junior members must be accompanied by an adult. Fees are due on 1st April each year. New members are always warmly welcomed into the club. We charge £3.00 per evening when there is a speaker/judging night and £2.50 at other meetings to cover the costs of refreshments
